“It is so nice to have someone really and truly supporting me, so genuinely that I often forget the country-wide residency gap.”

-quote from student Maria Massucco on distance counseling.

One-on-one counseling means you have a college coach at your side to help you blaze the path to the college that’s right for you. The first step is an informal assessment to get to know you. We want to know your values, interests, and what your goals are. This is a conversation; the beginning of an open dialogue that allows us to work in a partnership toward the fulfillment of your educational objectives. Together we evaluate your courses, grades, extracurricular activities, sports, special talents, employment, summer experiences, community service – in short everything that distinguishes you and makes you distinctive. When we have a clear picture of who you are and what your aspirations are, we’ll create a road map for success. We’ll help you create options and decide which options to pursue to allow your interests and talents to flourish.

We’ll be there to help determine the right standardized tests for your learning style. We help identify your “best fit” colleges whether dream, reach, or likely choices, and prepare you for college visits and interviews. The college application represents you to the admissions office. We help craft your admission edge. We specialize in helping students create a strong application that reflects their individuality; an application that articulates the academic and personal qualities admissions officers want for their campus communities. Our commitment to your success is total. We’re with you throughout every step of the process, as long as you need us.
